Meet The Owner

After 20 years of managing people, production schedules and purchasing for several manufacturing firms I decided to leave the corporate world and follow my dreams.  Animals have always been my passion and now I am living it.  I was the kid that had them all, fish, turtles, gerbils, dogs and cats...

I have spent countless hours at the humane society letting dogs out of their runs for exercise in addition to training if needed to help them become more adoptable.  I've worked in their training program helping people train their dogs and puppies in hopes that these will stay in their forever homes.  During the holidays I set up and manage food donations barrels in a couple local grocery stores. 

Reading training and animal behavior books is a favorite pass time of mine.  I've also attended several dog training seminars and I'm a member of APDT, Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

I currently live with a 17 year old cat and two greyhounds retired from racing.  I am an adoption representative for Greyhound Pets Inc in the West Seattle area and have performed many home visits and adoptions.  In addition I hold numerous informational booths about the breed in local pet stores. 

 I have never been happier in my life !!
